Welcome to Manggo ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Manggo mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Manggo is a language learning platform that connects users with native speakers through live audio conversations in audio rooms. Our Service is designed to help you improve your language skills through real conversations.

1. Eligibility

To use Manggo, you must:

  • Be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • Not have been previously banned from the Service
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

2. Account Registration and Security

When you create an account with Manggo, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

3. Audio Rooms and Language Exchange

Our audio rooms allow you to practice languages with other users. You understand and agree that:

  • Conversations in audio rooms may be with other users from around the world
  • We do not guarantee the availability of native speakers at all times
  • Audio conversations are for language practice purposes
  • You are responsible for your conduct during audio sessions
  • We make no representations about the language proficiency of any user

4. User Conduct and Safety

You agree to use Manggo in a safe and respectful manner. You will NOT:

  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Use offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language
  • Share inappropriate or explicit content in audio rooms
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam
  • Record audio conversations without consent of all participants
  • Create multiple accounts or use automated systems
  • Promote illegal activities or substances
  • Share false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access restricted areas

5. Community Guidelines

To maintain a positive learning environment:

  • Be respectful and supportive of other learners
  • Help create an inclusive environment for all language levels
  • Report any inappropriate behavior to our support team
  • Follow room-specific rules set by room hosts

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using Manggo, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Premium Services and Payments

Manggo offers free and premium features. For premium services:

  • Payments are processed through TipTopPay and app store billing
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Refunds are subject to our refund policy in the Public Offer Agreement
  • Prices may change with advance notice

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or community guidelines
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Harmful conduct toward other users
  • Extended period of inactivity

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee specific language learning outcomes. Success in language learning depends on many factors including your dedication and practice outside of the app.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANGGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if not resolved, in courts of competent jurisdiction in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

  • Update the effective date at the top of this page
  • Notify you through the app or via email
  • Provide you the opportunity to review changes before they take effect
